Welcome back to guests, fitness classes and indoor dining from 17th May

The Prime Minister recently confirmed the latest phase of unlocking us from the COVID-19 related restrictions. We now look forward to welcoming you back for indoor dining, to fitness classes in the Health Club and allowing limited numbers of guests. Read below for further information and the details on what this means for our operations.

Changing Rooms

Due to continued Social Distancing Guidelines the Health Club Changing Rooms will remain open for indoor swimming pool users only. Outdoor Pool users can either use the changing gazebos of the makeshift changing rooms in the Sauna and Steam Room.

From 17th May Members will be able to use the showers in the Clubhouse Changing Rooms however no towels will be provided until 21st June so we ask Members and guests to bring their own. We would still encourage Members to come to the Club ‘sport ready’ and shower at home where possible to keep numbers low in all inside changing areas

Reading Room

The Reading Room will be open to Members from Monday 17th May. There will be two work stations set up for Members to work from but please respect other users and wear head phones if you are making calls or are on conference calls. Drinks and snacks can be taken into the Reading Room purchased from the Club Café or Piazza Coffee Shop. Unfortunately there will not be newspapers available at this stage for COVID-19 reasons but we hope to reinstate them from late June.

Guests from Monday 17th May

Golf guests can be invited to the Club from 17th May – one guest per Member allowed on Mondays (9 holes only), Tuesdays (18 holes), Thursdays (9 holes only) and Sundays (18 holes) from 3pm onwards. To maximise tee time slots a Member and their guest must be prepared to play with another two ball in a four-ball slot whether two Members or a Member and another guest. No guests on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday please until further notice. On days when guests are only able to play 9 holes, the guest fee will be 50% of the 18 hole rates.

Tennis – up to 3 guests per Member but for one court booking only per day on weekdays and after 2pm at weekends.
Padel Tennis – no guests
Squash – no guests
Croquet – one guest per Member at any time
Snooker – one guest per Member at any time
Health Club – no guests at any time
Social Guests are currently allowed to join Members for catering bookings and that will continue
This policy will be reviewed by the Board before the third relaxation of rules due on 21st June. We hope to then permit guests to attend the Health Club and other sports a certain time.
