Chelsea Flower Show

Members enjoyed a two-course lunch and organised transport to the Chelsea Flower Show last Thursday. This year’s show saw the famous designer Chris Beardshaw winning best in show for his NSPCC garden. The beautiful countryside of Yorkshire was brought to Chelsea including cow pats and sheep’s wool caught on barbed wire! Club Gardener, Kate Burrow went along with the group and commented that ‘the planting this year was excellent all-round and there was plenty of ideas to take home.’
Here what Members had to say:
‘Superb organisation. I really liked the informative talk by Kate before we left for the show and the lunch was perfect.’
‘A seamless well organised event.’
