Virtual Q&A with Simon Taylor renowned Motor Sport Journalist and Commentator
Thursday 25th June, 6.30pm
Best known for his 25 years in Formula 1 as a journalist and radio and TV commentator, Simon Taylor will talk, via zoom, about F1’s great days from the 1950s to the 1980s. He will share stories about the drivers and team people who were his friends, and what it was like being a commentator in those hairy, out-of-control days.
Join us to hear anecdotes about his life and times as a motor racing journalist, interviewer and feature writer and the whole world of classic cars and the launch of Classic & Sports Car, the best-selling old car magazine in the world. Today Simon drives and competes in his own classic cars, including the best-known one, the HWM Stovebolt Special and we look forward to welcoming Simon to the Club next year for our Concours D’elegance on 6th June 2021.
Meanwhile enjoy his wealth of experience and stories from the comfort of your own home.
