Racketlon 2022

After the success of 2019 and then enforced break we are delighted, with the approval and support from the Tennis and Squash committee, to once again host the London Open Racketlon at Roehampton Club.

Racketlon is the combination of the four biggest racket sports in the world: Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash and Tennis.

We will stage the Table Tennis and Badminton (on tournament roll out mats) in the Indoor Tennis Centre (ITC).

Roehampton Club will host the London Open from 22nd – 24th July 2022

Rough guideline re times/event:
Friday 22nd July: (typically 9am to 7pm) all doubles categories + first round of some of the biggest single draws (Men’s A, B, C) from about 17.00
Saturday 23rd July: (9am to 7pm): all singles categories continue
Sunday 24th July: (9am to 4pm): all single categories finish

There will be categories for all abilities (from complete beginners to the world’s best players!) + also for all ages.
Categories for the tournament will be:

SINGLES
Men’s A, B, C, D
Women’s A, B, C
Seniors Men: 40+, 50+, 60+
Seniors Women: 40+

JUNIORS: u13 (boys and girls), u16 (boys), u16 (girls), u21 (boys), u21 (girls)

DOUBLES
Men’s A, B, C
Women’s A
Mixed A,B
Seniors Men: 45+
Seniors Mixed: 45+

Members interested in participating must register with the FIR to buy a Player’s Licence in order to enter the tournament (15 euros). Go to this link: License and click on ‘Sign Up’

You can enter a maximum of 1 doubles and 1 singles.

The tournament fee has then been reduced for Members to £25 (from £50) for singles and £10 (from £20) per player for
doubles and can be made at the Club.

Paul Lindsay will need everyone’s name and email + if the playing age group category (juniors or seniors) and your date of birth.
