About Nigel Wilson …

Nigel Wilson has taught the PhotoClub for the past five years. He has introduced us to a wide range of photographers past and present, discussing their approach and explaining their techniques and how we can adopt them in our photography.

He usually sets homework so we can practice the techniques. The resulting images are then discussed at the next class. Homework is not obligatory but it does help to practice camera technique and learn more about composition and light.

Nigel teaches classes for The Royal Photographic Society and has been nominated for the RPS Education Award given for outstanding achievement and inspirational teaching in photographic education.

He is also a lecturer at the V&A. He is currently a tutor for The Times / Sunday Times ‘Masterclasses’ series.
