PhotoClub Images in the Reading Room – September and October
The Reading Room display for the month of September will highlight a selection of images taken by members of the PhotoClub who have attended classes in the past twelve months. The images will reflect upon the techniques and advice given by our excellent tutors Rob Borgars and Nigel Wilson.
The month of October will be a retrospective exhibition of images taken by our late friend and colleague Sally Rowley, who sadly passed away in 2020. Sally was a keen photographer and one of the first students to sign up when the classes were started over a decade ago.
Richard Tolkien, Sally’s husband, their children Harriet, and Aidan together with Sally’s sister Isla will join us on Friday September 30th at 6.30pm to open this exhibition.
Members are invited to join us at 6.30 to welcome Richard and the family and to enjoy a glass of wine to celebrate Sally’s life while viewing her images. If you intend to come along, please email me to give me an idea of numbers.
