Iceland the Westfjords – A talk by David Mooney

This is the first of our new monthly member meetings and David Mooney will be giving a talk on his recent trip to the remotest area of Iceland the Westfjords with the RPS Travel Group.
The trip was for eight days and went to the end of the most northerly road in Iceland which in true Icelandic tradition has an open-air swimming pool at its finish. the talk will include giants, colossal waterfalls glaciers lava flows wildlife, public artworks and Red Sands Bay.

After the talk there will be a chance for Members to show up to three of their recent work to the group. There is no critique but there may be some questions from the assembled group.
Members should email their three images to David Mooney at adavidmooney@sky.com (images to be no more than 5Mb max) by 15th January.
Free event, no need to book, simply turn up in the Art Studio from 6.45pm for a 7pm start – you might like to bring a drink with you from the Members Bar.

Advance Announcement of the annual Roehampton Club Photo Exhibition, Monday 24 April – Sunday 7 May, 2023
Open to ALL Roehampton Club Members who enjoy photography.
There are no limitations on subject matter, whatever equipment you use (DSLR, compact, smartphone), whatever your level of ‘expertise’.
General Entries
◊ You may enter up to FOUR ‘A4’ or TWO ‘A3’ photos. ‘A4′ and ‘A3’ are guidelines. They can be portrait or landscape, square or rectangular and either black and white, or colour.
◊ All entries must be mounted and must not exceed external mount size of 40 x 50 cm. Advice on how to have photo prints mounted will be available.
Entry fee
£8 per photo
Or have your own display panel
You have the use of a complete 1m x 2m display panel. You mount or have mounted your own prints and display as many as you wish for the display space. Your photos should have a technical or artistic theme. You are responsible for hanging your own photos at a time specified by the PhotoClub.
