Aoife Ní Bhriain

Born in Dublin to a family of musicians, Aoife Ní Bhriain has established herself as one of the most versatile musicians of her generation.

Thanks to her musical heritage combined with her classical studies she has collaborated and performed with musicians such as pianist Eliso Virsaladze, fiddle player Martin Hayes, jazz guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel and Oscar winning actor Tim Robbins.

She is a member of the avant garde string quintet Wooden Elephant as well as the Goodman Trio. She graduated with first class honours from the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Leipzig in 2018 and plays on a violin by J.B. Vuillaume on generous loan. She will perform for us a range of repertoire from Bach to Irish folk music, classical to contemporary.

Paul Booth
Wednesday 2nd June at 6.30pm

From his early acclaim as a prize-winning saxophonist, Paul Booth has continually refined and expanded his talents as a solo artist, composer, arranger and bandleader, whilst establishing an elite reputation as the in-demand sax man on today’s music scene.

His ability to blend into any musical surrounding coupled with his talents as a multi-instrumentalist has led to him to being regularly chosen to perform with many well-known artists.

Paul has toured, performed and recorded around the world with Steve Winwood, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Steely Dan, Carlos Santana, Van Morrison, The Allman Brothers Band, Chaka Khan, Kylie Minogue, Jamiroquai, Gregory Porter and many more.

Paul currently performs his own music with a number of different groups and will entertain us with a selection of his jazz and world music inspired compositions, some jazz standards and his take on songs borrowed from popular music.
