This week we had a Four Clubs and Putter competition. Well done to the winners, great scores!

This coming weekend we have a Nine and Wine on Saturday 11th March and there are still slots on the start sheet. Book now on Intelligent Golf if you would like to play. On Sunday 12th March there is a mixed Club Roll Up. Meet in the Club Café at 7:30am.
Eclectic Opener Stableford Competition 14th March

Australian Spoons 21st March
This is a Stableford foursomes competition. It is open to all Club Members and there is a prize for the winning pair, but only those with a handicap of 15 and above are eligible for regional finals.
Club Day 28th March
On 14th March the sign up for Ladies Club Day opens. The day will commence with a shotgun start at 9:30am and the format is greensomes. The golf will be followed by lunch and prizegiving for Club Day and the winter knockouts. The chef has come up with a new buffet with hot and cold food which looks scrumptious, and the cost is £25 per person. Sign up at Clubhouse Reception. This is a separate sign up from the golf. If you are out of golf for any reason you are still very welcome to join us for lunch.
Internal knockouts
The draw for the summer internal knockouts has come out this week. Please try to organise your matches as soon as possible since everybody’s calendar will fill up quickly. Good luck to all players!
Interclub Golf
The Derry team will play their semi final for the Helme Shield against West Hill, at home on 17th March and away on 22nd March.
Centenary Bowl played their first match of the season at Hindhead and came away with a good 3/2. Well played! The home match is set for 9th March.
On 9th March 9 the Hicks team will play Foxhills away and then at home on 11th March.
The Wallis team will play Wimbledon Common away on 11th March and home on 23rd March.
The Pearson team will play Surbiton away on 20th March and at home on 30th March.

Amended Golf Schedule
Due to changes to maintenance weeks etc we have a few amended dates:
Fun Competition Playing Cards will be played 20th June
Lady Captains Day will be on 27th June
George Gadd and Grannies vase will take place on 4th July
Jollyheim Cup will be played on 1s August
The Senior Tour Pro Am will be played on 7th August

Etiquette
The greens are very soft so please look after them. Repair your pitch marks and ideally one more. Please replace divots and rake the bunkers.
