Goodwood’s second celebration of the estate’s love of dogs will take place over the weekend Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May this year. The showground, set at the heart of the estate in the Duchess paddocks beside the Grade 1 listed members’ clubhouse, The Kennels, will be filled with even more surprises to delight visitors, both two and four legged.

Goodwoof 2023, presented by MARS Petcare, will play host to superb world-class competitions and demonstrations from international and home-grown canines at the very top of their game. It will be bristling with sought-after experts giving advice on health, nutrition, behaviour and dogs’ DNA who will be joined by renowned practitioners in doga, reiki, sound-bathing and dog massage who will give free classes designed to relax dogs and owners and strengthen the precious bond between them.

The enlarged Have-A-Go arena will offer visitors the chance to teach their dog new tricks, the popular 50m Dash lets dogs, large and small,  show off their speed, Literary Corner will be well stocked with tales of canine derring-do read by authors and a brace of famous voices, architecturally designed kennels will be displayed as the incredible Barkitecture, presented by Mastercard, competition continues. Champagne will be flowing at the Taittinger bar, shops will showcase carefully curated goods, happy dogs will take a cooling splash in Fido’s Lido, music will float around from the two bandstands and there will be plenty of food outlets and places to relax in the shade with your dog.
