National Club Tennis Champions again!

Below is a picture of our very successful Men’s and Women’s Tennis First teams at the National Championships in Bournemouth last weekend.

The men won the National Title again following their success in 2019 with a decisive win over Sutton TSC. The women were looking to add to their 2022 NPL Doubles title but came up against a very strong Sutton team in the final so finished runners up.

Both teams won the National South East Region titles en route to the final as well so it’s the most successful year we have had so far at National level.

I would like to thank all the players but especially team captains Nik Snapes and Laura Deigman for their stewardship of both teams.

We are now National Club Champions at Tennis and Squash and are aiming to win the National Padel Tennis championships this weekend at the NTC on Priory Lane at the back of the Club. Click here for details of the schedule and our latest padel tennis successes.

Our Juniors are winning at County and National level as well and being given every chance to play for the adult teams being ability not age led.

Credit must be given to Dan Lott, Nik Snapes and Paul Lindsay as they are making the Roehampton Club racquets section the envy of all Clubs nationwide.

National Inter Club Golf Croquet Final

Please come and support our First team playing Watford in the National Final on Lawns 1-3 on Saturday 24th September at 10am. It will be wonderful if we can win another national trophy this year. Click here for details.
