Christmas Festivities
The Christmas Party on Saturday was a very enjoyable event which began with pre-dinner drinks followed by a delicious three course festive candlelit dinner and Chicago Bridge. On this occasion points meant prizes of an alcoholic and chocolate variety, and it was lovely to see such a good number of our bridge members enjoying the first of our seasonal festivities.
Please note the following forthcoming social events –
Tuesday 14th December 7.30pm – Super Social Introduction to Duplicate Pairs
This is a supervised introduction to duplicate bridge to attract those bridge players who we know exist within Roehampton Club but who never join in with the Bridge Section’s organised sessions.
More chocolate and wine to be had!
If you are interested in attending, please contact our committee member Fiona Pollard who is organising this event. fiona@datefamily.com
Thursday 16th December 7.30pm- Social Duplicate Christmas Special
The originally proposed supper before the Social Duplicate Christmas Special has been cancelled, as it clashes with the Club’s carol singing and mulled wine by the Christmas tree in the Piazza. The carols will be led by the Ladies Choir and will finish at 7pm.
The bridge itself will of course be the usual fun evening organised by Ron.
Christmas Eve 11am- Chicago Bridge with mulled wine and mince pies
Very informal – do come along with or without a partner.
