Bridge Blog
Not much news to report this week. The bridge room is usually quieter during the summer months as many are away on holiday or attending other annual events at this time of year. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our golf/bridge match vs Wimbledon Common Ladies to a later date in the autumn.
The following matches are going ahead though so if you are interested in playing, please contact Simon Lucas simonhlucas@gmail.com or sign up on the bridge board in reception.
Away vs RAC, Tuesday 12th July 6pm start
The cost for the match including dinner is £20

The next team practice is Friday 15th July 1.30pm
Please sign up on the bridge notice board in reception as a team. If you don’t have teammates try adding your name as a pair so that others in the same situation can join you. (If you do so, please make sure you check the notice board before the session, so you know the situation).
Supervised Session on Tuesday afternoons with Loulou
The last session before the summer break will be Tuesday 12th July and sessions will resume on 9th September.
Grateful thanks go to Loulou and Arnold for their continuing commitment in running these weekly sessions. I know many people value the opportunity to play and improve their bridge in such a social and relaxed environment.
