PhotoClub Focus

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer and is looking forward to the resumption of activities with the PhotoClub.

Marc Quinn Light into Life at Kew Gardens

Our first outing is on 10th September to Kew Gardens where Marc Quinn has his sculptor exhibition Light into Life positioned throughout the gardens. Their reflection encourages viewers to see themselves as a part of the artwork and a part of the landscape which will give us great inspiration for our photography. This is a social visit with cameras and a chance to catch up with each other over a cup of tea. All Members are welcome to come along – click here for the poster and further information

Autumn Term Classes – 19th September to 17th October

Morning sessions start at 10am, afternoon sessions start at 1pm

We are looking forward to our autumn term of classes with our regular PhotoClub tutor Nigel Wilson who will introduce us to topical events and exhibitions before we look at a well-known photographer and their particular technique or subject matter. He will explain how we can take similar images or adopt a technique to further our knowledge. Some understanding of aperture, shutter speed and ISO would be beneficial for these classes.
