Club Gardens on Show
The weather forecast is sunny for the next week or so which is good news for all our outdoor activities and especially our gardens as we welcome visitors this Sunday to admire all the planting our excellent team has put in place. We open the gardens for viewing to the London Gardens Trust for one day each year so that visitors admire different private gardens and contribute to the charity for the experience. Thanks must go to Sam Cumber, Steve Hutchens, and their team for their preparation of the gardens for Members to enjoy.
On that note you may missed Peter Bradburn’s regular Grass Clippings articles which feature in the Recorder. Peter is on sick leave until August as he recently underwent a major operation but I am pleased to report he is recovering well.
Saturday 11th June is National Gin Day so join us in choosing the very popular Roehampton Club Gin which uses botanicals from the Club gardens. The perfect gift for Fathers Day!
