Roehampton Club
Developed from its early beginnings as a polo club with croquet lawns Roehampton Club now houses an immaculate 18-hole parkland golf course, 28 tennis courts including 10 grass courts, two padel tennis courts, gym and fitness studios, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, six squash courts, four croquet lawns, outdoor gym and space for pickleball.
For 125 years we have offered a sanctuary for families and friends where a love of sports, competitive excellence and all-level tuition play hand in hand. A full programme of social and family events, Art Group and PhotoClub lectures and classes, bridge and other games contribute to Members’ health and wellbeing.
Fully-refurbished function spaces for hire and our secret gardens make it an ideal setting for weddings and a wide range of events.
Membership
Roehampton Club membership is seen by many as a privilege. It hosts an impressive range of sports facilities, a variety of games and activities, experienced staff and social events. Roehampton Club offers the opportunity for Members to enhance their wellbeing and come together with their friends and family for competition, coaching, fun and relaxation.
Golf
The Club has a thriving and enthusiastic golf membership. The magnificent 18-hole parkland course is renowned for its excellent presentation and super smooth greens.
Tennis and Padel Tennis
Roehampton Club offers a complete range of playing surfaces to suit all abilities and ages including ten grass courts, twelve cushioned acrylic courts, three synthetic clay courts, three indoor acrylic courts (ten covered in the winter months) plus two padel tennis courts.
Health Club
Features a fully-equipped gym with functional, cardio and strength training zones, Reformer Pilates, three studios including a dedicated group cycle studio, indoor and outdoor swimming pools plus a modern and relaxing Juice Bar.
Croquet
Part of sporting life at Roehampton Club since 1902, our four, international-standard lawns are reputed to be among the best in the country. The beautifully-kept lawns and modern, fully-equipped pavilion offer the setting for both Association and Golf Croquet.
Squash
The Club has six heated, glass-backed courts including a show court with moveable wall allowing singles and doubles play – all courts have viewing galleries.
Activities and Games
There is much more to Roehampton Club than its sports. Complement your membership with our wide-ranging activities and games, from bridge, backgammon, snooker and chess to art, photography and choir.
Juniors
Whether your children enjoy golf, tennis, squash, swimming, padel tennis or pickleball, our range of excellent facilities, Junior activities and motivating coaches will help them achieve their potential.
Social Scene
Our Events Team create an entertaining and varied social programme, offering Members the chance to learn something new and have fun.
Venue Hire
Just twenty minutes on the train from Waterloo in leafy south west London, Roehampton Club is the perfect setting for a variety of events.
Refurbishment
Completed in August 2025, Roehampton Club has reimagined and fully refurbished it’s key social, events and function spaces.
The £3 million redevelopment has seen the transformation of the Members’ Bar, created a new restaurant space, four function rooms, extended garden terrace and adjoining areas, bringing new energy and elegance to one of the UK’s most respected private multi-sports clubs.
