Squash
The Club has six heated, glass-backed courts including a show court with moveable wall allowing singles and doubles play – all courts have viewing galleries. We currently have four teams in the oldest squash competition in the world – the Bath Cup and the Bath Cup Vets.
Roehampton Club’s squash team were National Squash Club champions in 2016 and are both
Men’s and Women’s National Squash Club Champions in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
European Women’s Squash Champions 2022 and 2023
Bath Cup League Champions 2022 – the Bath Cup League is the oldest active squash league in the world starting in 1922.
Queen’s Cup – winners 2022! The female league version of the Bath Cup saw Roehampton Club win and retain the league title they won in 2019.
Coaching
If you are new to the game or simply want to improve technique, group and individual training sessions are available with the Club’s qualified coaches.
Our weekly squash Club nights provide a great social opportunity to meet and play with other Members and there is the opportunity to sign up for the squash singles or doubles leagues.
Roehampton Club has England Squash’s Club Charter Silver Award and is a Mini Squash Approved Centre.
Competitions and Tournaments
The Club hosts a number of prestigious tournaments including the Roehampton School Squash Invitation – an annual tournament that sees sixteen schools including Eton, Marlborough, Epsom College and St Paul’s competing for the prestigious trophy.
The Club also hosts the Roehampton Club University Cup, the country’s leading Mixed Team University tournament, committed to developing squash and participation. Covering an entire weekend, sixteen top university teams compete to provide a packed weekend’s play for the 80+ players, making it the biggest mixed University squash tournament in the UK and Ireland.
Membership
Roehampton Club is home to an impressive range of sports facilities, a variety of games and activities, experienced staff and social events that offer the opportunity for Members, their friends and family to come together for competition, coaching, fun and relaxation.
Tennis
With 30 courts in total, we offer a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor playing surfaces including real grass, synthetic grass, Poraflex and smash.
Junior Squash
Whether your children enjoy golf, tennis, squash, swimming, football or something else, our range of excellent facilities and motivating coaches will help them achieve their potential.
