Roehampton Croquet

Croquet has been a part of Roehampton Club since its official opening in 1902.The four lawns are at international standard and reputed to be the best in the country.

The beautifully kept lawns, matched by an elegant pavilion (opened in 2011) offer both Association and Golf Croquet for all. The Club is privileged to host the Croquet World Cup and European Championships each year.

The Croquet section is an extremely active part of the Club and in addition to the popular Club Days, hosts both internal and external tournaments throughout the year.

The Club has qualified Association and Golf Croquet Coaches available to all standard of players should Members wish to take up the game or simply develop their skills.

MacRobertson Shield

In August 2010 Roehampton Club hosted matches between Australia and the USA in the MacRobertson Shield. This is the World Team Championship of Association Croquet; the fifth occasion in the Club's history when it has hosted the event. This is considered the World Cup of Croquet.
