Roehampton Schools Squash Invitation 2017 - Division One

Roehampton Club Schools Squash Invitation 2017 - Division One

The final of Harrow v Eton was also a repeat of the last year which saw Harrow beat Eton on a sudden death point.

A quick start in the final and Harrow went 2-0 up with string 4 still on court and strings 1 and 3 still to play, meaning Harrow needed victory in one of the three remaining strings to take the title. They did not want a repeat of the extremely close 2016 final and the Harrow 4 string won 2-0 to retain the trophy for Harrow. Strings 1 and 3 played their closely fought matches but Harrow proved too strong on the day winning 5-0.

All involved did remarkably well and hopefully found the event enjoyable and ready for next year's challenge, either to gain promotion to Division 1 or challenge for the title!.
Reminder the winner of Division 2 in January 2018 will get automatic promotion to Division 1 in March 2018.
