As part of the Open Garden Squares Weekend, organised by the
London Parks and Gardens Trust, we are opening up our gorgeous
gardens for visitors to explore on Sunday 19th June.
Your OGSW ticket grants you access to London's best secret
gardens over two days, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June from 10am
to 4pm. Roehampton Club are one of several in south-west London -
Grove House Estate at Roehampton University, Ham House and Garden,
Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability and Share Community Garden.

takes us on a tour of the gardens, to give you an idea of what to
find behind our gates ...
Our sunken gardens are perfect for relaxing and reflecting
with a colourful display of geraniums, fuchsia and ageratums. The
garden's water feature provides a feature point with cascading
water and a home for the ducks who love visitors.
Wander up the steps and through the wrought iron gates to
find a newly created rockery and alpine garden. Around the corner
is our herb garden where our Chefs select fresh herbs for their
daily dishes and the scents of chocolate mint, curry plant and
black peppermint can be enjoyed.
The long walk bordering one of the Club's four immaculate
croquet lawns features a herbaceous border which has recently been
re-planted. The west side of the croquet lawn holds the newly
planted autumn colour border with an autumnal plate of hues and
spring flowers. Each of the bays along the walk holds seating and
steamer chairs in which to relax and enjoy the feature climbers
including wisteria, magnolia grandiforla and an impressive trained

rhododendron beds and the deck bar area where you can enjoy some
refreshment. The yew hedges provide a backdrop and are an original
